The 2011 Easter Seals Regatta Weekend will be setting sail on July 15-16. Our 16th Annual Regatta Weekend returns with fun events like the Friday Night “Rock the Dock” Auction at the Nepean Sailing Club – always a fan favourite for exciting items, services and swag. Admission is free – dinner not included. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday’s Pirate-themed Fuller Family Fleet Salute is the main attraction. Join the families as they race out on the water to battle the pirate ship – this year with a guest appearance by the favourite Black Jack. Stay for a BBQ lunch, kids activities and rest up for the Saturday night Luau Dinner at the Nepean Sailing Club – a night of music, great food and the perfect way to complete the weekend.

Register your boat today and take an Easter Seals family out for the Fuller Family Fleet Salute (admission is free) or participate in the Easter Seals "Secret Racers Regatta" (minimum $25 registration fee).

Bushtukah "Bring on the Bay" 3k Open Water Swim

If you are a swimmer, Saturday morning is for you! Check out the Bushtukah “Bring on the Bay” 3k Open Water Swim taking place Saturday, July 16th. In four years, our event has grown into one of the premier open-water swims in Canada’s National Capital Region. Registration is now open. Visit www.bringonthebay.com for more information.

Over the past 15 years, our Regatta has raised over $700,000 for Easter Seals. This year, our goal is to raise $55,000. Easter Seals assists families of kids with physical disabilities with the purchase of costly mobility equipment and communication devices. Easter Seals also owns and operates two fully accessible summer camp properties and is recognized as an industry leader in providing specialized recreation programs for kids with physical disabilities at Easter Seals camps.
